It is truly my honor to serve as President of the Filipino-American Association of Fairbanks — an organization built on the heart, hard work, and vision of so many who came before us. Today, I’m incredibly proud to be part of a new generation of leaders, alongside an amazing team of officers, who are committed to honoring that legacy while also building for the future. This work isn’t done alone — it’s through the dedication, ideas, and teamwork of our current officers that we are moving Fil-Am Fairbanks forward in exciting new ways. Together, we are focused on revitalizing our organization — creating opportunities for engagement, strengthening our systems, and making Fil-Am Fairbanks a welcoming and inclusive space for all. One sign of that progress is this new website — built and hosted by Allan Mesina and his company TechGN — which reflects our commitment to accessibility, connection, and modernizing how we serve our community.

But more than anything, this organization has always been about people. It’s about all of us — coming together, sharing our talents, supporting one another, and celebrating the best of who we are as Filipinos. There is so much potential here, and we invite you to be part of it. Join us. Get involved. Bring your ideas. Help us write the next chapter of Fil-Am Fairbanks together.
